Northern Stamping, Inc. started in 1972 under the name Variety Stamping to supply small, light gauge stampings to GM’s Chevrolet, Pontiac, and Canadian (CPC) Division. In 1989, Michael Friedman, along with others, purchased the company and renamed it Northern Stamping, Inc. In 1996, Matthew Friedman joined NSI as Director of Sales. With a steady increase in sales, came the need for more capacity. In 1997, NSI added a second facility to house all welding operations, a new 2000 ton transfer press, as well as an expansion to the existing facility. After being purchased by Hilite International, Inc., NSI was re-acquired by Matthew Friedman in 2009. |
